Rocheforte – CEO

Rocheforte is the CEO of BEST Energy & Systems Technology Inc. (BEST Solar), bringing more than 30 years of professional experience in quality control, project management, strategic planning, and problem-solving. His career has focused on overcoming technical challenges, leading complex laboratory projects, and developing human capital across the U.S., Asia, and Europe.

In 2022, during a 10-day visit to Liberia to execute a water system project, Rocheforte was struck by the lack of technical expertise, poor project execution, and inadequate implementation practices. Although the project was completed successfully, the experience revealed a greater need for reliable, high-quality services in Liberia.

BEST Solar was created in direct response to this need—aimed at bridging gaps in technical project execution, raising quality standards, and delivering essential water and renewable energy systems to enhance quality of life. Driven by passion and purpose, Rocheforte is committed to applying his expertise to serve one home, business, and institution at a time, building a brighter and more sustainable future for Liberia.

Evaris Buckle – COO

 Buckle is dedicated to ensuring operational excellence in every project the company delivers. A proud native of Liberia, he brings more than 25 years of experience in the IT services sector, having served with a leading advanced telecommunications provider.

Evaris’ expertise in scalable systems and customer-driven solutions fuels his commitment to making renewable energy both affordable and accessible. His vision is to provide Liberians with an exceptional solar experience—one that not only meets but exceeds expectations, empowering communities through clean and sustainable energy.

 Mohamed Calico Lavalie – CAO 

Mohamed brings 15 years of expertise in the maritime industry, with experience spanning both the public and private sectors in Liberia. He holds a Master’s degree in Port and Shipping Management from the World Maritime University in Malmö, Sweden, along with a Diploma in Container Terminal Operational Excellence.

As a certified freight forwarder and licensed customs broker in Liberia, Mohamed combines technical knowledge with hands-on experience. His specialization in end-to-end cargo clearing and delivery makes him a trusted logistics professional dedicated to efficiency, compliance, and service excellence.

Albert Buku Kollie - CTO

Albert is a Liberian Renewable Energy Specialist with over a decade of professional experience spanning both the public and private sectors in Liberia. His work focuses on advancing sustainable energy solutions, with a strong commitment to expanding clean, reliable power access across communities.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication Engineering, alongside professional certifications in Renewable Energy. Albert also brings expertise in Monitoring & Evaluation and Engineering Project Management, equipping him with a comprehensive skill set to lead and implement energy projects from concept to completion.

With a passion for innovation and sustainable development, Albert continues to play a key role in shaping Liberia’s renewable energy landscape, driving forward projects that create long-term impact for people, businesses, and the environment.
